Immi Careers ("we", "our", "us") is an online recruitment and career services platform connecting international job seekers with Australian employment opportunities. We are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, and other applicable privacy laws.

Account & Profile Data: Name, email address, phone number, nationality, visa status, work history, skills, qualifications, and documents (resumes, certifications) that you voluntarily provide.

Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, job searches performed, applications submitted, and interactions with course content — collected automatically to improve our services.

Payment Data: Subscription plan, billing history, renewal status, and billing contact details processed securely through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full credit card details on our servers — Stripe holds and tokenises card information on our behalf.

Communications: Messages sent through our platform, support enquiries, and email correspondence.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies to maintain session security and analytics.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases:

All third-party processors are contractually bound to protect your data and may only use it to provide services on our behalf.

Your data may be processed outside Australia or the European Economic Area (EEA). When transferring data internationally, we ensure adequate protections are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers to non-adequate countries, in accordance with GDPR Chapter V.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you close your account:

• Profile data is deleted within 30 days
• Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by Australian tax law
• Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely

Our services are not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us immediately.
